Food for Life catering mark

The Food for Life Catering Mark is a unique way for restaurants and caterers to gain the recognition you deserve for all of your good work serving great food.
The Catering Mark provides an independent guarantee that what's on your menu is freshly prepared, free from undesirable additives and better for animal welfare. It is open to all types of food provider. The Bronze, Silver and Gold awards recognise best practice and offer you a step-by-step approach towards using more fresh, seasonal, local and organic ingredients.

When you apply for the Catering Mark, we will provide you with advice and guidance to help you gain an award. We'll also support your progress towards the gold Catering Mark award.

When you've gained your Catering Mark you'll receive a communications pack to help tell your customers about your success. We'll give you our Bronze, Silver or Gold logo to use on your menus and marketing materials. We'll tell over 50,000 people about your award, by featuring you on our website and in our newsletters as a pioneer of the scheme.

Organic certification

While restaurants do not legally need to be certified to make organic claims, many have decided to use the Soil Association symbol on their menus to demonstrate that their dishes and ingredients meet a strict set of organic standards that protect health, sustainability and the environment. We offer organic certification for an entire restaurant or a particular dish.
