Understanding organic

Training seminars for business

Are your staff the best ambassadors for your business? Could they do with a practical introduction, or a refresher course, on the principles of organic farming and processing? We can help. Our refreshed training offer ranges from ‘Organic in an Hour’ (don’t move: we come to your workplace…) to ‘Organic in a Day’ (combining classroom presentations with first-hand insights into what makes organic farming different).
The 2014 dates for ‘Organic in a day’ are already filling up, so make your bookings now for the one-day courses on 15th May, 12th June, 10th July, 18th September and 25th September.

British Retail Consortium (BRC)

This package is for employees involved in BRC audits, including technical staff, quality assurance managers and other staff that need further understanding of BRC. It provides insight into meeting the requirements of the BRC global food standards at both foundation and higher levels.

Organic integrity training

We also offer training in the more technical areas of organic production and processing, as a tool for building knowledge and understanding of the requirements of organic standards. Whether you are planning to convert your land or make an application to certify your products, or you already hold a licence with us and could do with a refresher, we can help take the mystery out of organic regulations and standards.

Training can cover any and all requirements from farming methods and permitted inputs, to product composition, labelling and record-keeping. Let us know where you feel you or your staff could benefit, and we can tailor a training day to suit your needs.

Please note that training is designed to give you the confidence to manage organic integrity, and is not a business consultancy service or guarantee of compliance.
