Soil Microbiology Laboratory Manager Position Available

We want to recruit, a PhD or MSc student for the position of Soil Microbiology Laboratory Manager in Europe’s only Soil Foodweb affiliated laboratory. http://www.soilfoodweb.com/.
This person will have some experience in a commercial, working environment and have full UK driving licence as there will be some travel within the U.K and possibly overseas.
Duties will include:
Managing throughput, analysis of samples and reporting to clients and internal staff.
Ensuring in-house, business and outside clients receive an excellent service.
Maintaining and managing complex datasets.
Supervising any junior staff.
Representing Laverstoke Park at various events as a speaker or delegate.
Undertaking in-house research in to farming practices and liaising with external stakeholders.
Driving forward the Farm’s own research and development projects and making clear recommendations to better the outputs.
Looking at ways to reduce costs and continuously improve the efficiency of the laboratory.
Working with the Business Development Manager to undertake commercial initiatives and implement strategies.
Working closely with the Laboratory team members to improve the business and maintain a position of authority within the soil science field.
