Small Changes, Big Difference for Organic September

We saw by how making a small change we can make BIG things happen last September...

Last September saw the launch of our Small Changes, Big Difference campaign, full of exciting events and opportunities to engage the public in organic products.

The month-long campaign celebrated fabulous food with the 25th annual Organic Food Awards, introduced a brand-new national organic skincare event - Organic Beauty Weekend on 7-8 September, and encouraged everyone to enjoy more organic food, drink, clothing and health & beauty products.

Results show organic food sales in September increased by nearly 9% bringing an absolute increase of £7.9m to the sector. Monthly sales in September 2013 showed an increase of 2% with many categories such as Tea, Cereals, Yoghurts, and Poultry showing exceptional growth and far outperforming the non organic products in these categories.
